Want 2026 to Be Your Best Year Ever? 🪩🥂Start Here.
Before you rush into goals and resolutions for 2026, I want to invite you into something deeper, quieter, and far more effective: reflection. In this episode, we walk through six intentional questions that help you understand your past year, honor who you’ve become, and step into the new year with clarity and alignment.
We’ll explore your year through the 8 pillars of a well-rounded self — mental/emotional, physical, environmental, professional, spiritual, relational, recreational, and financial — so you can see the whole picture of your growth.
These questions will help you:
✨ Celebrate what went well
✨ Acknowledge your challenges
✨ Honor your lessons
✨ Release what you no longer want to carry
✨ Identify the support you need
✨ Choose a theme or intention for 2026
This episode pairs perfectly with the free Best Year Ever Workbook, which you can download at www.inspirebeautybritt.com/bestyear to go even deeper into your reflections. And if you want to translate those reflections into a tangible vision, you’re invited to my Vision Board + Intentions Workshop on January 10th.
Let’s close out this year with intention and step into 2026 feeling grounded, supported, and aligned.
LET’S DIVE IN. 🖤
Hello, hello friends and welcome to the FINAL podcast episode of 2025!
Can you believe we’re already here, wrapping up another year?
First off, I just want to take a moment to thank YOU. Whether this is your very first episode or your 150th, you’ve been part of something really special this year. Together, we’ve navigated challenges, celebrated wins, and, most importantly, we’ve kept showing up for ourselves.
And that’s the PROCESS, friends.
Showing up.
Growing through what we’re going through.
Taking care of ourselves along the way.
Learning and relearning lessons.
All of it counts.
And I love that we get to navigate it all here in this space, together.
As we look ahead to 2026, I want to help you reflect on this past year and get crystal clear about what you want for the next. This is a ritual we do EVERY YEAR in our household, and it has had a profound impact on how I show up and move the needle forward.
It’s simple.
But gosh, it is powerful.
LET’S TALK HYPE VS PROCESS ENERGY
You know how it goes: we get to this point in the year and all we want to do is set the goal and go full steam ahead.
And while you’re going to watch pretty much everyone around you lean into the hype of a new year, I want you to lean into the process of a new year.
Because the process isn’t always about motion.
Sometimes it’s about slowing down long enough to know where you are and what you actually desire.
Today, I’m going to walk you through six simple, but powerful, questions that will help you make 2026 your best year yet—not because you ran the hardest, but because you lived the most aligned.
We’re going to weave in all the categories of your life so you can create a holistic plan for your wellness and growth this year.
Most resolutions revolve around two things: money and health.
And maybe those do need focus for you—amazing.
But maybe what’s tugging at you is different this year. And that’s okay too.
I don’t want you to mindlessly do what everyone else is doing.
I want you to get crystal clear on what actually matters to you.
Quick Note: Free Workbook + Vision Board Workshop
Before we dive into the questions, I wanted to take this ritual beyond me just talking at you.
I’ve created a FREE workbook for you to download as a companion to today’s episode. It’s beautiful (you know I love a good aesthetic vibe 😏) and it’s packed with prompts, space to reflect, and tools to help you walk through all six questions at your own pace.
You can grab it for free at:
That’s inspirebeautybritt.com/bestyear — and I’ll pop that link in the show notes for you too.
And when you grab the workbook, you’ll also get an invitation to join me for this year’s Vision Board + Intentions Workshop at the top of the year.
We’re going to take what you uncover in this process and turn it into a visual, tangible, aligned vision for 2026.
🗓 This year’s workshop is on Saturday, January 10th, from 10am–12:30pm EST.
You’ll get the training, a vision board template, and replay access if you can’t come live.
So think of today’s episode as Step 1: Reflection + Clarity,
and the workshop as Step 2: Vision + Integration.
Why Reflection Comes First:
Before we get into the questions, I want to bring back a metaphor I love because it explains why I will always die on the hill of reflection.
Imagine you’re heading out on a road trip. You grab your phone, open your GPS, and type in the address of where you want to go.
But the app keeps saying: “Starting location required.”
Without knowing where you are right now, it cannot map a route to where you want to be.
Life works the same way.
If we don’t pause long enough to check in— to name our wins, our challenges, our lessons— there’s no real way to chart the path forward.
Reflection is your starting point. It saves you from wandering, from spinning your wheels, from repeating the same year over and over.
So today, we’re going to locate your “starting point” using six questions that touch every corner of your life.
And to do that, we’re going to use a tool I give my clients all the time and we talk about religiously in this spacew: the 8 pillars of a well-rounded self:
Mental/Emotional
Physical
Environmental
Professional
Spiritual
Relational
Recreational
Financial
You are not just a body and a paycheck.
You are a whole, intricate human.
And all of these areas matter.
So if you’re driving, walking, or doing dishes right now—just listen.
Then later, when you download your workbook at inspirebeautybritt.com/bestyear, you can sit down, press play again, and write your answers out in detail.
And one more thing: this is SO powerful to do with other people.
Do it with your partner, your kids, your friends, your team, your mastermind.
Other people will remember parts of your story you’ve forgotten—and you’ll see their journeys more clearly too.
Alright. Ready?
The first three questions help you look back at 2025.
The next three help you step into 2026 with intention.
Let’s go.
1. What went well in 2025? What can you celebrate?
We’re starting with wins on purpose.
Your brain is wired to remember what went wrong more than what went right.
So left on its own, it will tell you a very incomplete story about this year.
I want you to go on a little treasure hunt.
When you sit down with your workbook, use these tools:
Scroll your camera roll
Look through your calendar or planner
Check your texts, emails, or DMs
Glance at your social media posts or stories
Let those things jog your memory.
What went well?
What tiny moments made you smile?
Where did you show up for yourself?
What things felt like answered prayers?
What did you create, finish, or simply survive?
And remember—this isn’t just about big achievements. It’s the small stuff that often becomes the big stuff.
A walk you took regularly.
A conversation you finally had.
Asking for help.
Starting a new habit.
Showing up to therapy.
Being kinder to yourself.
Write it all down. Exhaustively. Let this be a page of pure celebration.
2. Where did you feel stretched, challenged, or changed in 2025?
Now we’ll gently shift into the harder part of the story: your challenges and the ways you were stretched. This is where the 8 pillars really shine.
In your workbook, you’ll see space to look at each area:
Mental/Emotional
Physical
Environmental
Professional
Spiritual
Relational
Recreational
Financial
Ask yourself:
Where did I feel strained?
Where did things feel heavy or chaotic?
Where did I hit a wall, feel stuck, or feel behind?
Maybe it was mental health.
Maybe it was your body and energy.
Maybe it was your home feeling cluttered.
Maybe it was money.
Maybe it was grief.
Maybe it was your marriage or friendships.
Maybe it was a lack of fun.
This is not about beating yourself up. It’s about honoring what you’ve been carrying.
When you see the full picture, you’re more likely to give yourself grace. You’re more likely to understand, “Oh…no wonder I’m tired. I’ve been walking through a lot.”
This clarity will matter when we decide what to carry into 2026—and what to lay down.
3. Who did you become this year, and what do you want to bring with you into 2026?
If challenges are the teachers, then lessons are the gifts. So this third question is about harvesting the gold from everything you just wrote in Questions 1 and 2.
Who did you become in 2025?
What did this year teach you about:
your strength
your limits
your needs
your values
your patterns
your resilience
your tenderness
Maybe you learned that your emotions are not the enemy.
Maybe you realized rest isn’t optional—it’s essential.
Maybe you saw how much better you function with structure.
Maybe you discovered that small, consistent habits really do change everything.
Maybe you realized you’re braver than you think.
I want you to name those lessons. And then I want you to choose:
Which of these do I want to bring with me into 2026?
This is where reflection turns into wisdom. And this wisdom becomes your guide for the coming year.

4. What are you ready to release before you step into 2026?
You cannot carry everything forward and expect to feel lighter. So this is your invitation to ask:
What am I ready to leave in 2025?
This could be:
a habit that drains you
a role you’ve been performing that no longer fits
a belief about yourself that keeps you small
a pattern in relationships
an expectation you’re tired of trying to meet
a way of talking to yourself
a schedule that doesn’t match your capacity
You can even look back at the 8 pillars and ask:
Where am I holding on to something that’s no longer aligned with who I am becoming?
Releasing doesn’t mean it never mattered.
It means you’re making space.
Space for healing.
Space for rest.
Space for joy.
Space for the new.
Write it down:
“In order to step into 2026, I’m ready to release…”
And list as many things as you need.
5. How do you want to FEEL in 2026, and what support do you need?
Now we start looking forward, but not in the traditional “resolution” way.
Instead of beginning with outcomes— “lose X pounds,” “make X amount of money,” “hit X goals”—
I want you to start with this question:
“How do I want to feel next year?”
Do you want to feel:
peaceful?
strong?
grounded?
joyful?
connected?
creative?
hopeful?
secure?
Let that feeling become your compass.
Then ask the follow-up:
“What support do I need to feel that way?”
Support might look like:
better rhythms for rest
asking for help with the kids or house
therapy or coaching
a financial plan
more fun and play
community or accountability
clearer boundaries
spiritual practices that keep you anchored
Your “best year ever” will not come from doing it all alone. It comes from supporting yourself well.
Write it all out.
“How I want to feel…” and “What will support that feeling?”
6. What is your theme or intention for 2026?
Finally, instead of a long list of resolutions, I want you to choose a theme for your year.
A word.
A phrase.
A posture.
Something that captures the heart of how you want to move through 2026.
It might be:
“Peace First”
“Aligned Action”
“Protect What Matters”
“Nourished”
“Joy on Purpose”
“Grace Over Grind”
“Steady”
“Rooted & Present”
Your theme becomes a filter.
If something supports the theme, it’s more likely a yes.
If it pulls you away from the theme, it’s probably a no.
In the workbook, you’ll see a page designed just for this—your 2026 word or phrase, and the habits, boundaries, and choices that will help you live it out across the 8 pillars of your life.
This theme is what we’ll build on together in the Vision Board Workshop.
So let’s recap your six questions:
What went well in 2025? What can you celebrate?
Where did you feel stretched, challenged, or changed this year?
Who did you become in 2025, and what do you want to bring with you into 2026?
What are you ready to release before you step into 2026?
How do you want to feel in 2026, and what support do you need?
What is your theme or intention for 2026?
If you want 2026 to be your best year ever, don’t start with the pressure to chase a goal.
Start with clarity.
Start with reflection.
Start with seeing your life through the full lens of those 8 pillars— mental/emotional, physical, environmental, professional, spiritual, relational, recreational, and financial.
That’s how you create a year that’s not just louder or busier — but deeper, truer, and more aligned.
Your next step is simple:

As we wrap not just this episode, but this entire year, I want to leave you with this:
You have everything you need to create a year that feels aligned, intentional, and deeply meaningful.
You do not have to do what the masses are doing.
You do not have to live on the brink of burnout.
You do not have to reach December next year wondering where the time went and why you feel the same.
You can choose to live and show up differently.
You can choose to move with peace and purpose instead of pressure.
I believe in you.
I am so grateful for you.
And I cannot wait to see who you become in 2026.
Until next time, take care of YOU— because we need you well for all the visions that are being placed on your heart. 🖤
